The Honea-Worley Award for Scholarship was initiated in 1996 by Hiram J. Honea of Birmingham, Alabama, and is administrated by the Marble Valley Historical Society.

A maximum ot two awards for scholarships
(announced in May)
will be awarded for the best entries

How

Write and a Four-Generation Framily History
Rules and  format (see below)

When

Deadline
Last school day in April
Drop off by 9:00 a.m. at the
Senior Counselor's Office, Pickens High School
 
Each family history will be evalutated by a panel of judges
Awards will be announced at Pickens High School Awards Night
The two cash awards will be available in August.
