Town Creek Church

According to E.C. Kelley, Jr., of Fairmount authored the sketch of the Town Creek Baptist Church in the book Pickens County, Georgia, Heritage, 1853-1998. Town Creek Baptist Church was established 15 June 1844. The current church building, constructed in the late 1950s, under the leadership of Deacon Roscoe Duckett and Brother Tom Dean. It is the third church building in 163 years.
