Stephen Kirby

Portraits of Stephen Kirby and his second wife, Mary Mann were presented to the Marble Valley Historical Society on 24 April 1999 by Mr. and Mr. Max Kirby and family of Cumming, Georgia.

The portraits are currently hanging in the Old Pickens County Jail

Surrounding the cabin is the Rosamond Stancil Heritage Garden designed for MVHS by the Pickens County Master Gardeners. Seeds from these perennials are available at the Old Jail adjacent to the cabin.
